Security Officer Unarmed Driver Watch

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Retail/Malls, you will also contribute to a culture that positively impacts the communities and customers we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with store leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, stock areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, and/or policy violations, and document observations and incidents according to site-specific guidelines.
• Assist with closing procedures, access control, and/or crowd and line monitoring during busy shopping periods, promotions, and special events.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
