Security Officer Unarmed Driver Incident Reporting

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and direction-giving to support an orderly healthcare environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Pay

$23.44 / hour

Schedule

• Part Time
• Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
