About the role
As a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate clearly, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-focused, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter.
- Monitor access points and observe employee, visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document incidents, irregular conditions, and security-related activities through required reports and communication channels.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.76 / hour
Schedule
- Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
