Security Officer Unarmed Full Time Afternoons

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site policies, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. A drug screen may be required prior to employment, to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
