Security Officer Unarmed = Customer Access

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer – Customer Access in Fort Mill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and support orderly operations while providing exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the distribution location, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity, damaged property, or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following site-specific procedures and documenting observations as required.
• Assist with maintaining orderly vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery traffic flow at designated entrances and exits.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience (X-ray screening experience preferred).
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.39 per hour.

• Part-time, daytime shifts.
• Monday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Sunday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
