Security Officer Unarmed - Access Control

As a Security Officer Unarmed Access Control in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling through the Claim a Shift platform and the opportunity to explore new roles. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, policy violations, and operational needs.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$22.13 per hour

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
