Security Officer Unarmed Bike Patrol

About the role

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part‑Time Unarmed Bike Patrol Security Officer in Portland, OR. The officer will monitor and patrol a dynamic brewery district, maintain a visible presence, interact professionally with visitors and staff, and document activity using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, riding a bike for extended periods.
• Document activity using a computer or tablet.

Requirements

• Ability to ride a bike; preferred ability to ride for long periods.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Pay

$22.70 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Saturday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
