Security Officer Unarmed Bicycle Route Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Bicycle Route Patrol in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will ride a bicycle throughout assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, residents, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintain orderly conditions.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and communications records in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to ride a bike is required.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
