Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, verifying credentials, and following site-specific security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, screen authorized personnel and/or deliveries, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and restricted areas to help identify hazards, unauthorized activity, and/or policy violations within changing work environments and conditions.
• Support emergency response activities by following site protocols, assisting with evacuations or access restrictions when directed, and completing accurate reports related to security-related incidents and observations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
