The posted compensation range of $16.30 - $19.65 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Responsible
- Patrols assigned areas, on foot or by vehicle, providing service and protection.
- Investigates suspicious person(s) or activity, responds to crimes in progress, crimes that have occurred, disturbances, accidents, various public service calls, and other miscellaneous incidents.
- Investigates complaints, criminal incidents, suspicious activity and accidents. Prepares detailed written incident reports.
- Monitors electronic surveillance equipment and hospital emergency systems, dispatches appropriate personnel via radio, and actively patrols to protect individuals and property.
- Provides general information and assistance to patients, visitors and employees, including safety related escorts as requested.
- Collaborates with various department personnel and external agencies to gather and exchange information; promote departmental services provided to the campus.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED, and six (6) months experience as a security officer in a hospital or healthcare setting, upon hire.
- Prior law enforcement or military experience.
- Driver's License: AR, upon hire.
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
Preferred
- One year experience as a security officer.
