About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential location.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, building entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, resident, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and shift activities.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license preferred.
- Possess CPR certification preferred.
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Licensed by the New York State Department of State.
