Security Officer Tablet Reporting Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Tablet Reporting Patrol in Sunnyvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity and report maintenance, access, and other security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information when required, and help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
- Support security-related operations in a manufacturing and industrial environment by observing workplace conditions, reporting hazards, and communicating clearly with employees, contractors, and/or first responders during routine and unusual situations.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Skills
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Security-related experience.
