Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through the proper channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, stairwells, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and document security-related observations, incidents, and/or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Support property operations by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or customer concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
