About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and maintain awareness of activity around assigned posts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency procedures as directed.
  • Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour.

Schedule

  • Friday - Tuesday
  • 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
