Security Officer - Site Access

About the role

As a Security Officer - Site Access in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication at a dynamic logistics and distribution location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery personnel credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
