Security Officer Site Access

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic location where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior through visible presence and routine observation.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 21 years old for armed roles, 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
