Security Officer Shift Supervisor Evening Weekdays

About the role
The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site, acting as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. This role involves supervising staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.
Responsibilities
- Manage security personnel, including assigning tasks, delegating duties, and monitoring performance.
- Conduct daily briefings with the security team.
- Respond to security incidents and notify proper authorities and clients.
- Monitor security systems and CCTV, and perform regular patrols to identify potential breaches.
- Ensure security officers and personnel follow post orders and complete established rounds.
- File required reports and maintain daily records of security-related incidents.
- Train security staff, including new hires and current staff, on topics such as workplace searches, drug and alcohol procedures, and other safety and security protocols.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
- Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
- Licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
- For driving positions: valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), and minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy.
- Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
- Ability to handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Qualifications
As a condition of employment, the employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test. A driver’s record check may also be required.
Pay
$21.12 per hour.
Schedule
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
