Security Officer Second Shift Part Time

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, damaged property, and potential hazards to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and other site documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay

$18.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM (Saturday)
• Night shift: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM (Sunday)
