Security Officer Part Time Second Shift

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, entrances, loading areas, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in a timely manner.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
