Security Officer - Second Shift

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures and responding to security-related concerns in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document activities according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to support authorized access and reporting unusual activity.
• Aid with emergency response activities and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
