As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, access points, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verifying credentials, following access protocols, and reporting discrepancies according to site procedures.
- Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing facility activity, reporting hazards or concerns, and assisting with security-related incidents involving packages, vehicles, and/or property.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
