Security Officer - Screening Specialist

As a Security Officer - Screening Specialist in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer Screener in a dynamic technology location, where you will help support a welcoming environment through screening activities, access management, and attentive customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct routine patrols, responding to security-related concerns with professionalism.
• Maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, credentials, and visitor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Note facility issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior during patrols.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification.
