Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Review in Bloomington, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people and/or property, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain professional and visible, help to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, shipments, and/or vehicles in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Maintain accurate screening and incident records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, business operations, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing Requirements

Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
