Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures, and report unusual findings or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity to help support authorized access and security-related awareness throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting supervisors, local authorities, and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, screening stations, loading zones, and the perimeter, noting suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and/or operational issues for follow-up.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
