Security Officer Screening Assessment

About the role

As a Security Officer Screening Assessment in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a visible presence, identifying security-related concerns, and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen authorized personnel, visitors, packages, and shipments in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and screening-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading docks, business areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Comply with licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
