Security Officer Screening Monitor

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries at designated access points to help support authorized entry and identify items or activity that may require additional review.
• Monitor entry and exit areas, check credentials and/or shipping documentation as directed, and report unusual conditions, policy concerns, and/or screening exceptions to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with the appropriate contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining attentive to security-related concerns, access control issues, and/or operational disruptions within the location.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
