Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with post orders and property requirements, while documenting unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, identification credentials, and visitor logs to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns, facility issues, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Skills

• Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of access control protocols.
• Basic computer literacy.
