Security Officer Driver Patrol Monitor

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help support compliance with location rules for restricted or controlled areas.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation, and assist with security-related requests while maintaining professionalism and attention to site protocols.

Requirements

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
