Security Officer Patrol Monitor

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential access concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to support access control procedures within a regulated aerospace and defense location.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, visitors, and/or first responders regarding security-related matters, post orders, and incident updates as needed.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
