Security Officer Routine Site Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and/or concerns according to site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or unusual behavior while supporting daily operations at the location.
• Assist with documenting incidents, providing directions, and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel during routine activities and unusual events.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
