Job Description

As a Security Officer Site Patrol in Independence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a dynamic location, help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

• DayTime: Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor the location for unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns, and report findings according to site procedures.
• Support access control and visitor-related procedures as directed by site-specific policies and post instructions.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.
