Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor processing, badge verification, and/or personnel entry procedures in accordance with site protocols.
- Prepare clear, timely reports regarding incidents, daily activities, and/or maintenance or access issues observed during assigned shifts.
Minimum Requirements
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
