Armed Security Officer - Bank Rover Part Time

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact each shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support cash handling and other high-value asset protection activities through visible armed presence, attention to site procedures, and timely response to security-related incidents.

Requirements

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Have 1 or more year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
