Security Officer Part Time Rover

As a Security Officer Part Time Rover in Mebane, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that need attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control practices, assist with crowd flow, and address customer service needs as they arise.
• Communicate with site contacts, local responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters affecting daily operations.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
