In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, document incidents, and help support timely responses to security-related concerns. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a dispatch post in a technology, media, or telecommunications location.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, phones, radios, and/or other communication systems, and dispatch appropriate personnel in response to incidents, service requests, and unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details, relaying information to site contacts and/or emergency services, and documenting actions taken.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and communication records, helping to support timely follow-up on security-related concerns and site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter as needed, while helping to monitor changing conditions across the location and supporting assigned personnel.
Qualifications
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$19.00 / Hour
Schedule
Part Time. Day Time. Saturday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Sunday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM.
