Security Officer - Private School Patrol

As a Security Officer - Private School Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and following post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe campus traffic, visitors, students, faculty, and/or staff to help to identify unusual behavior and report concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily operations at the location by communicating with site personnel, assisting with directional information, and completing assigned reports related to security-related activities.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
