Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to school personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location policies, and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized entry attempts, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Support school routines and after-hours activities by observing assigned areas, documenting incidents, and providing visible presence during arrivals, departures, and/or special events.

Minimum Requirements

• A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
