As a Security Officer Armed Patrol - School in Rock Hill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities across an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, athletic spaces, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and/or after-hours access while helping to support authorized entry procedures and documenting security-related observations.
• Work with school administrators, local first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership during drills, escorts, investigations, and incident follow-up as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
