About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Visitor Credential Review in NEWARK, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and promptly communicate concerns to designated personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading docks, warehouse areas, parking lots, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain employee, visitor, vehicle, and delivery access in accordance with location procedures and report irregularities.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and security-related observations through accurate written and/or electronic reports.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
