Security Officer Patrol Technology

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Technology in Huntersville, NC at an Amazon Warehouse, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report irregularities.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately per Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Access control and badge experience.
• A guard card or license.

Pay

$18.36 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Position type: Full Time.
