Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activity with professionalism.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and report conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor the movement of vehicles, trailers, and/or deliveries at entry and exit points, following post orders and helping to support authorized site access.
• Complete routine logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and help to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
