Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Hazlehurst, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Our Security Officers at a leading food and beverage location conduct routine unarmed patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with location procedures.
- Support a clean, professional presence at the location by communicating clearly with site contacts and assisting with routine security-related duties as needed during varying shifts and conditions.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
