What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, observe site activity, and report policy violations and/or suspicious behavior.
- Assist with day-to-day property operations by providing directions, answering general questions, and reporting hazards, lighting issues, and/or facility concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.
