Security Officer Patrol Specialist
About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading technology location as an unarmed patrol officer, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing routine reports related to patrols, incidents, and/or shift activity.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
