Security Officer Patrol Security Clearance Required

About the role

As a Patrol Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location in Huntsville, AL, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.60 per hour.

• Day shift: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Monday through Friday
