Security Officer Patrol Clearance Required

About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol with a required clearance in Westford, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access activities while delivering exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report irregularities involving restricted areas, sensitive materials, or facility operations.
- Support Allied Universal and site leadership by following post orders, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with location policies.
Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
