Security Officer Patrol Clearance Required

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and facility operations. You will deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional assistance while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access activity and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and support adherence to applicable site protocols and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
