Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery processes in a technology-focused location; verify credentials and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the business, perimeter, parking areas, and technology-support spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
