Security Officer Patrol Security

About the role

As a Patrol Security Officer in Claude, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, access points, parking areas, and delivery zones, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry for visitors and contractors, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Observe food and beverage operations for security-related concerns, report hazards or policy violations, and assist with maintaining an orderly environment for personnel and visitors.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
