About the Role

As a Security Officer Patrol Screening in North East, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, observe site activity, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Skills

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Schedule: Day Time, Wednesday through Friday, 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
